Fairfield University’s Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) chapter aims to raise funds to support underrepresented students in STEM through professional development, networking opportunities, and increased access to impactful events. This year, our primary goal is to send a group of ten students to the 2025 SHPE National Convention, the largest gathering of Hispanic STEM talent in the country.
The convention offers invaluable access to career opportunities, technical workshops, and leadership training that helps students grow both professionally and personally. With SHPE membership growing on campus, we want to ensure that cost is never a barrier to participation. Funds raised will also support local programming, including company tours, guest speaker events, and community STEM outreach. Your support will directly empower the next generation of Hispanic engineers, helping them build the skills, confidence, and connections needed to succeed.
