The Friends of Women’s Basketball Gift Fund helps provide the needed operational funds to cover expenses associated with operating a Championship Division I program. Under Head Coach Carly Thibault-DuDonis, the Stags continued their historic run for the 2025-26 season, posting a 28-5 overall record and defending their crown by winning the MAAC Tournament for the third consecutive year to secure another NCAA Tournament bid. The team’s success earned Fairfield a national Top 25 ranking and was highlighted by a MAAC Player of the Year honor, further recognizing the individual excellence that has contributed to the program’s continued success. The team plays in the Leo D. Mahoney Arena, a state-of-the-art, donor-funded facility that has quickly become one of the premier mid-major arenas in the country.
