The Friends of Women’s Rowing Gift Fund helps provide the needed operational funds to cover expenses associated with operating a Championship Division I program. Under the leadership of Director of Rowing Dr. David Patterson in 2025, the Stags built on a historic 2025 season in which they captured their first MAAC Championship since 2000 in thrilling fashion, winning the title after a tiebreaker was decided by their first-place finish in the Varsity 8 Grand Final. In 2026, the Stags continued their momentum with a second-place finish at the MAAC Championship, further establishing Fairfield Women’s Rowing as one of the conference’s premier programs. With continued growth and success, the team remains focused on competing at the highest level and building on its championship foundation.

Your generosity helps us recruit top-tier talent and cover expenses, including team travel (buses, flights, hotels, and meals), equipment, nutrition, software, and other resources that enhance player development and elevate the student-athlete experience, fostering continued success both on and off the field.
