The Friends of Men’s Basketball Gift Fund helps provide the needed operational funds to cover expenses associated with operating a Championship Division I program. Under Head Coach Chris Casey, the Stags recorded their first 20-win season since 2011-12, finishing with a 24-13 overall record in 2023-24. The 2024-25 season was marked by thrilling moments – including a nationally recognized 70-foot buzzer beater – that captured the energy and momentum surrounding the program. As Fairfield builds toward the 2025-26 season, Coach Casey and his staff continue to elevate the program with a talented roster and championship aspirations. The team plays in the Leo D. Mahoney Arena, a state-of-the-art, donor-funded facility that has quickly become one of the premier mid-major arenas in the country.
Your generosity fuels the ability to recruit top-tier talent and cover expenses that include team travel (buses, flights, hotels and meals), equipment, meals/nutrition and costs for software and other tools that allow for our players to develop.
