The Friends of Volleyball Gift Fund provides essential supplemental resources that support the operation of our championship-level Division I program.
Under Head Coach Nancy Somera, the Stags have captured the MAAC Championship in each of her first two seasons, bringing Fairfield’s all-time total to a conference-best 14 titles. The program consistently represents the MAAC on the national stage in NCAA postseason play. In 2024, Coach Somera was honored as MAAC Coach of the Year, with six Stags earning All-MAAC recognition. Leo D. Mahoney Arena, a state-of-the-art, donor-funded facility that the Stags call home, has quickly become one of the premier mid-major arenas in the country.
