The Friends of Women’s Basketball Gift Fund helps provide the needed operational funds to cover expenses associated with operating a Championship Division I program. Under 2023-24 Kay Yow National Coach of the Year Carly Thibault-DuDonis, the Stags posted a historic 31-2 record in 2023-24. Fairfield went 20-0 in MAAC regular season play, earned their first ever AP Top 25 ranking, and claimed both the MAAC Regular Season and Tournament titles. In 2024-25, Fairfield defended their crown, winning the MAAC Tournament for the second straight year to secure another NCAA Tournament bid with a commanding 76-53 victory over Quinnipiac. The team plays in the Leo D. Mahoney Arena, a state-of-the-art, donor-funded facility that has become one of the premier mid-major arenas in the country.
Your generosity fuels the ability to recruit top-tier talent and cover expenses that include team travel (buses, flights, hotels and meals), equipment, meals/nutrition and costs for software and other tools that allow for our players to develop.
