The Friends of Women’s Rowing Gift Fund helps provide the needed operational funds to cover expenses associated with operating a Championship Division I program. Under the leadership of Director of Rowing Dr. David Patterson in 2025, the Stags captured its first MAAC Championship since 2000 in thrilling fashion, winning the tiebreaker with a first-place finish in the Varsity 8 Grand Final during the MAAC Championships. Fairfield placed five student-athletes on the All-MAAC First Team and secured the conference’s automatic berth to the 2025 NCAA Division I Championship which featured 22 of the nation’s top programs, with Fairfield proudly representing the MAAC on the national stage for the first time.

Your generosity fuels the ability to recruit top-tier talent and cover expenses that include team travel (buses, flights, hotels and meals), equipment, meals/nutrition and costs for software and other tools that allow for our players to develop.
