The Friends of Women’s Soccer Gift Fund helps provide the needed operational funds to cover expenses associated with operating a Championship Division I program. Led by Head Coach David Barrett, the Stags captured their ninth MAAC Championship in 2024 – Fairfield’s first title since 2008 – and earned an NCAA Tournament bid with a stellar 18-win season. The Stags received national recognition, with several players earning All-Region and All-ECAC honors. Coach Barrett was named the ECAC Coach of the Year and the New England Soccer Journal’s Division I Coach of the Year, reflecting the team’s resurgence and rising reputation on the regional and national stage.
Your generosity fuels the ability to recruit top-tier talent and cover expenses that include team travel (buses, flights, hotels and meals), equipment, meals/nutrition and costs for software and other tools that allow for our players to develop.
